Consumers with a social conscience are a growing sector in our economy. The Economic Justice Coalition's "Worker Friendly" program connects employers, workers, and consumers by providing a list of certified worker-friendly businesses that provide living wages, benefits, and a healthy workplace.

The Worker Friendly Employer Honoring project believes that there are many businesses and organizations that voluntarily pay a living wage and provide opportunities for employee growth.

Employers benefit when they are located in a prosperous community. When the community thrives, individuals and families thrive. At a minimum, every household should have enough income to meet basic needs, medical expenses, and education.
